OPEN TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYERS

WHY IS IT A CAMP & SHOWCASE?

It's the best of both worlds. Players will showcase their skills to current college coaches, but they will also learn from the coaches. Coaches want to evaluate players and their skills so they can teach them appropriately, just like they do with their own players. Feedback will be immediate, just like a college practice. Coaches also want to see how players react to new instruction, new techniques and how they socialize with peers and other coaches. Coaches will immediately inform players of any available metrics measured at camp. Players choosing to participate in the Competition or Big Man Camp will be on the field with the college coaches showcasing their gametime skills in a controlled, but competitive environment. Being able to participate in evaluation and instructional settings is the best of both worlds for college coaches and prospective college football players. It’s what the coaches prefer and why the event is set up with both the evaluative and instructional environments included.

ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE

  • Instruction from all coaches attending the event.
  • Feedback on football techniques.
  • Opportunities to ask questions about their skills and get to know the college coaches in attendance.
  • Small group instruction.
  • Family involvement through questions and the ability to take video and photos.
  • An in-person discussion about the NCAA recruiting process, rules, and regulations.
  • Players participating in the Competition or Big Man Competition Sessions will receive controlled game-play, on-field evaluations from coaches.

REGISTER ONLINE TO GUARANTEE A PLACE IN CAMP

We aim for a player-to-coach ratio of 8:1 but will not exceed 10:1 in the Offense and Defense Sessions. This is roughly the same player-to-coach ratio on a college football roster. This ensures that the coaches can spend quality time with all players attending and are not overwhelmed with large camp numbers. This also ensures that prospects will have time to interact with the coaches and learn from them in a small group and one-on-one setting.

DISCUSSION FOR PARENTS AND PROSPECTIVE STUDENT ATHLETES

This portion of the event is open to all registered participants and parents. It will cover various topics relative to the college experience, NCAA recruiting process and rules, academic requirements, and other useful information. Based on facility needs and timing restraints, this discussion may be held virtually. If held virtually, it will be emailed to the participant’s email address before or shortly after camp.
